Munster Men's Double in Interpros:
Munster's A and B teams won the Interpros for the first time in many years. The 'A' Team of Patrick Foster; John Hurley; Phil Cullinane; Brian Knox; Kevin Knox and Martin McDonnell beat the holders Ulster 4-1, Leinster 3-2 and Connacht 4-1. The 'B' team completed the double in winning the 'B' competition. The team of Dermot MacNamara; Conor O'Donoghue; Dan Long; Robert Hawkins (Captain); Brian Healy and Ken O'Keeffe beat Connacht 4-1 and Leinster 3-2. Our Women's team gave it their best shot but, with the exception of Eleanor Lapthorne, on this occasion were 'under pressure'. The team and photos are available here.

John Hurley wins place on Irish Euro Team:
Silversprings number 1 player finished off a successful season in which he had his highest ever Grand Prix finish by getting the call-up for the Irish team in the European Championships. John played against France and twice against Spain and athough he didn't win a game he admitted that it was quite an experience and very instructive as to what high standards are out there!
