Munster Masters do the business in Salthill:
Well done to the victorious Men's and Women's Masters teams who took the titles in the Interprovincial Championships in Galway this season. The teams were:

Above the Women's team of Jackie Kearney (The Orchard); Clare Jones (Highfield) Liz Hurley (Catholic Institute) Marie White (Freshford) and Margaret Calnan (The Orchard). Below the Men's Team of Martin McDonnell (Highfield); Eamonn O'Keeffe (Sunday's Well); Neil O'Sullivan (Sunday's Well); Donal Coughlan (Highfield); Derry McCarthy (Sunday's Well); Michael Conlon (Ennis CBS) and Eddie Murphy (Silversprings).

Senator Windows Masters' Open 2006:
This event took place in Cork on the weekend of January 20-22 and the results and pics are available on the tournament page. Thanks as always to Nowl Murphy and Senator Windows for their generous sponsorship.

Selection Criteria for Munster Veteran Teams for Interpros 2006
Players interested in representing Munster in the Interpros. in Galway in March 10-12, 2006 should check out the following:

1. A three-person selection committee comprising the Vets Secretary (Eamonn O’Keeffe, Sunday’s Well), one O45 player and one O60 player will select the teams. They will consider the following in picking teams:
2. Players must compete in at least one of the Provincial Open Vets Championships outside their own province (Irish Veterans Open will qualify) and the Senator Windows Munster Veterans Open 2006.
3. Teams will be selected from Irish Rankings.
4. Where a player enters a competition but fails to earn ranking points that entry will meet the requirements.
5. All players must be individual members of Irish Squash.
6. A panel of 6/7 players is required for each team. In the event that numbers selected according to 1-2-3 are insufficient, the selection committee may co-opt players.
