Congrats to Eleanor Lapthorne and the Irish Women's Team who played at the World Team Championships in Edmonton, Canada in September 2006. Seeded 9th. they finished in 7th. place despite having to do without the services of number 1 Madeline Perry who caught a bout of food poisoning and was well below her best during the event.
