Vice-President

Coaching Secretary
1.
Elected at AGM or subsequently co-opted.
2.
A member of committee.
3.
Keeps a register of qualified coaches operating
in Munster.
4.
Organises coaching courses to increase the
number of qualified coaches operating in the province.
5.
Promotes the use of qualified coaches in member
clubs.
6.
Organises – in consultation with the
relevant secretary – the coaching of Senior Men, Senior Ladies, Veteran
and junior players within the province.
Refereeing and Marking Secretary
1.
Elected at AGM or subsequently co-opted.
2.
A member of committee.
3.
Keeps a register of qualified referees operating
in Munster.
4.
Organises refereeing courses to maintain the
number of qualified referees operating in the province.
5.
Organises – in consultation with the
relevant secretaries and tournament directors, – the refereeing of Munster
Open and Closed Championships.
6.
Represents the association at Irish Squash
meetings of Refereeing and Marking Secretaries.
Representatives to Irish Squash
1.
Elected at AGM or subsequently co-opted.
2.
A member of committee.
3.
Attends meetings of Irish Squash.
4.
Represents the views of the association at
meetings of Irish Squash.
5.
Reports to Committee on Irish Squash meetings.
Men’s Captain
1.

Determines, in consultation with the Committee,
the selection criteria for Munster Men’s Teams.

Selects the Men’s Teams to represent
Munster.

Takes an active part in the organisation of
both the Munster Senior Open and the Munster Senior (Closed) Championship.
8.
Keeps under review the procedure for selecting
senior players for Irish Squads and Irish Teams in so far as they concern
Munster players.
Ladies Captain
1.
Elected at AGM or subsequently co-opted.
2.
A member of committee.
3.
Reports to Committee.
4.
Determines, in consultation with the Committee,
the selection criteria for Munster Ladies Teams.
5.
Selects the Ladies Teams to represent Munster.
6.
Organises – in consultation with the
Coaching Secretary – the coaching of Munster Ladies Teams.
7.
Takes an active part in the organisation of
both the Munster Senior Open and the Munster Senior (Closed) Championship.
8.
Keeps under review the procedure for selecting
ladies players for Irish Squads and Irish Teams in so far as they concern
Munster players.
Masters’ Secretary
1.
Elected at AGM or subsequently co-opted.
2.
A member of committee.
3.
Reports to Committee.
4.
Determines, in consultation with the Committee,
the selection criteria for Munster Masters Teams.
5.
Selects the Masters Teams to represent Munster.
6.
Organises, in consultation with the Coaching
Secretary, the coaching of Munster Masters Teams.
7.
Takes an active part in the organisation the
Munster Masters’ Open and the Munster Senior (Closed) Championship.
8.
Keeps under review the procedure for selecting
masters players for Irish Squads and Irish Teams in so far as they concern
Munster players.
9.
Represents the association at meetings of
Irish Squash Masters’ Committee.
Junior Secretary
1.
Elected at AGM or subsequently co-opted.
2.
A member of committee.
3.
Reports to Committee.
4.
Determines, in consultation with the Committee,
the selection criteria for Munster Junior Teams.
5.
Selects the Junior Teams to represent Munster.
6.
Organises – in consultation with the
Coaching Secretary – the coaching of Munster Junior Teams.
7.
Takes an active part in the organisation of
both the Munster Junior Open and the Munster Junior (Closed) Championship.
8.
Oversees the participation of junior players
in Provincial Open Tournaments.
9.
Keeps under review the procedure for selecting
junior players for Irish Squads and Irish Teams in so far as they concern
Munster players.
10. Represents
the association at Irish Squash meetings of Junior Administrators.
