Irish Junior Nationals:
The Junior National will be held in Belfast on February 10-12 and can be entered on-line now.

Munster Junior (Closed) Championship 2012:
This was played in Dunhill, Co. Waterford and was a great success again this season. Many thanks to Mary O'Loughlan and her team for another great tournament. The Munster Junior teams will be selected in large part from the finishing position in this competition. Check out the full information on the tournament page.

Leinster Junior Open 2012:
Well done to Paul O'Mahony, BU15 (Highfield), Labhaoise Dunbar GU17 (Dunhill) and Ciarán Maher BU17 all finished in 3rd place in their competitions at the Leinster Junior Open in Carlow this weekend. BU13 Winner: Luke Logan; Runner-up: Seán Dineen; 3rd.: Ryan Kelly.
BU15 Winner: Nikita Gilevskiy; Runner-up:Oisin Dunne; 3rd.: Paul O'Mahony.
BU17 Winner: Oisin Logan; Runner-up:Cillian Dunne; 3rd.: Ciaran Maher.
BU19 Winner: Denis Gilevskiy; Runner-up: Dylan Moran; 3rd.: Eamon Lalor.
GU13 Winner: Victoria White; Runner-up: Rachael Quigley; 3rd.: Lily Lloyd .
GU15 Winner: Stephanie Ryan; Runner-up:Casey Luther; 3rd.: Hannah Craig.
GU17 Winner: Breanne Flynn; Runner-up:Griffin Gillanders; 3rd.: Labhaoise Dunbar.

EMC Munster Junior Open 2011:
This competition was held in Highfield over the week-end of December 10 and 11 and the full results and pics are available from the tournament page. Congratulations to Sinéad Walsh (Dunhill) and Philip McSweeney (Highfield) who won their Under 15 competitions and to all Munster players who entered the tournament.

One Day Blitz:
A one-day blitz open to all juniors who had not played on Munster teams was run off in Highfield, Cork on Saturday November 12. All age groups were catered for and this format will be repeated during the season. Munster Squash provided the prizes and pizza and for more information on the next one stay in touch. Munster Juniors win at Ulster Open:
Congratulations to Ciarán Maher (Thurles) who won the BU17 final at the Ulster Junior Open, to Sinéad Walsh (Dunhill) who was runner-up in the GU15 and to Paul O'Mahony, Third in the BU15. Full results can be found on the tournament page.

Elvery Sports Connacht Junior Open:
Congrats to Philip MsSweeney (Highfield) who won the BU15, to Labhaoise Dunbar (Dunhill) who was runner-up in the GU17 and to Sinéad Walsh (Dunhill), Paul O'Mahony (Highfield) and James Doherty (Silversprings) who were plate winners in the GU15, BU15 and BU13 respectively. Well done to all!

Munster Junior Secretary for this season:
Cyril O'Mahony (Highfield) is our new Junior Secretary and we thank him for taking on this important role for season 2011-2012.

Selection Criteria for Munster Junior Teams
Selection for Munster Junior Interpro teams will be based on the finishing positions in the Munster Junior Closed and attendance at squad coaching sessions. The Munster Junior Secretaries also take into account performance in the Provincial Opens and the Irish Nationals.
