Leagues
This season's league will be on a round-robin basis over Fri. April 9th and Sat. April 10th between Highfield; Celtic; Limerick Lawn and a Rest of Munster selection a single venue (to be advised).
The 3 club teams will be represented by players chosen from their own clubs. A finalised panel of players in ranking order (no restriction on numbers) is to be submitted to Munster Squash by Tuesday, April 6th. There is no restriction on the players that can be included on these panels, except that they must not have represented another club in a Munster Squash league during the present season.
The "Rest of Munster" panel will be selected and organised by the current Munster captain, Ken O'Keeffe and will consist of players from clubs outside of these 3. The only restriction on the players selected for this team is that they must not have represented any of the other 3 clubs in a Munster Squash league during the present season.
Entry fee is €100 per team
The format of the competition will be that of a 4-team round-robin basis with all teams playing each other, one on Friday night and two on Saturday.
Each tie shall consist of 5 matches and follow the usual 5-4-1-3-2 league format. Teams for any tie can consist of any 5 players in ranked order from the submitted panel. Points scoring will also follow te usual league format and at the end of the competition the team with the most points are this season's Mens Division 1 champions.
The club team (i.e. not "Rest of Munster" team) with the highest number of points are also eligible to represent Munster at this seasons All-Ireland Club competition in Galway in May.
