Junior

Thurles host Pilltown:
Thurles and Pilltown played a friendly recently and a good session was had by all.

Interprovincial Championships 2009:
Well done to all those players who represented Munster in this season's Junior Interprovincials (listed below). Well done to the Munster Teams on their successes and the winners and runners up were:

Munster players on Irish Junior Teams:
Congratulations to the Munster Juniors who made Irish junior teams in season 2008-2009. They were: on the U13 Home Intrnationals Philip McSweeney (Highfield), Under 15 Home Internationals Orna Murray and Labhaoise Dunbar, on the U15 Europeans team Orna Murray and on the U17 European Team Brian Dunbar.

Munster Junior (Closed) Championship 2009:
Well done to all the Juniors who participated over the weekend and congratulations to Dunhill for another enjoyable tournament. This is the third year that Mary O'Loughlin and her team have run this competition and we are very grateful to them for their work. The top finishers can be found on the tournament page.

Irish Junior Nationals 2009:
Munster hosted this competition this season and we are obliged to Highfield and Sunday's Well for their continued support in allowing us to their facilities.

Many thanks to Gerry Connaughton and his team who manned Sunday's Well and to Kevin Quinlan for all his help in Highfield.

Well done to
Orna Murray who won the Girls U15 National title and congratulations also to Sarah Corcoran, Brian Dunbar, Philip McSweeney and Barry Lynch who were runners-up in their events.

Leinster Junior Open:
Congrats to Labhaoise Dunbar who won the Girls U15 and to Brian Dunbar who finished in runner-up spot in the Boys U17 at the Leinster Junior Open. Well done also to Philip McSweeney, Ornagh Murray and Sarah Corcoran were in 3rd. place in the Boys U13, Girls U15 and Girls U19 respectively.

IACT Irish Junior Open 2008:
This competition was held in Salthill at the end of November. Well done to all the Munster participants and special well done to Labhaoise Dunbar who was runner-up in the Girls U13 and to Philip McSweeney who won the U13 Boys plate. More details can be found on the Irish Squash Site.

Munster Junior Open 2008:
The EMC2 Munster Junior Open was held at Highfield and Sunday's Well and the winners and runners-up are available here. Congratulations to Brian Dunbar of Dunhill who added the Munster Junior Open BU17 title to the Ulster Junior Open won earlier in the season and to Philip McSweeney and Sarah Corcoran who were runners-up in the BU13 and GU19 competitions respectively.

Ulster Junior Open:
