This is a Europe-wide ESF rule. If you wear glasses (spectacles) you are required to wear prescription eye-guards.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 224px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.informconnection.com.au\/products\/Products-11-231.jpg\" alt=\"Picture of a Mask Eye Guard\" width=\"224\" height=\"168\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Mask Eye Guard<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Be sure to buy only those brands carrying the EC or BS standards logo. The <strong>WRONG<\/strong> eyeguards have an aperture (opening) in the lens, that is, they are not fully closed lenses.<\/p>\n<p>Tips for use include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Avoid contact with greasy substances (like hair gel, creams or oils).<\/li>\n<li>Warm the eyeguards before putting them on to reduce fogging-up.<\/li>\n<li>Leave them on so that they keep warm. If you remove them from your face after every rally you increase the fogging.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid &#8216;cleaning&#8217; them with your wet squash top.<\/li>\n<li>Wearing a head-band will reduce the effect of perspiration.<\/li>\n<li>You can buy anti-condensation spray.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0030bf;\">The World Squash Federation recommends that all players wear eye protection!<\/span><\/h4>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ALL\u00a0junior players must wear protective eye guards while on the court during junior competitions.
