The president is elected at the AGM. The president is a member of the executive committee and is responsible for chairing committee meetings. The president has the casting vote on decisions, determines the agenda for the meetings (in consultation with the secretary), is an ex-officio member of all sub-committees, and is a co-signatory on cheques.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The secretary is elected at the AGM. The secretary is a member of the executive committee. The secretary determines the agenda for the meetings (in consultation with the president), sends out notices of upcoming meetings, records the minutes of each meeting, reads the minutes of previous meetings, keeps a register of affiliated clubs, and deals with correspondence on behalf of the association.<\/span><\/p>\n

Treasurer

The treasurer is elected at the AGM. The treasurer is a member of the executive committee. The treasurer’s responsibilities include collecting all fees on behalf of the association, making payments on behalf of the association, recording all receipts and payments, reporting to the committee at meetings, reporting at the AGM on the association’s financial position, and is a co-signatory on all cheques.<\/span><\/p>\n

Responsibilities include attending Irish Squash meetings, representing the views of the association at Irish Squash meetings and reporting to the committee about the Irish Squash meetings.<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0juniors’ secretary<\/span><\/span>\u00a0is a member of the committee and reports to the committee at meetings.\u00a0Responsibilities\u00a0include determining\u00a0(after\u00a0consultation with the committee) the selection criteria for the Munster\u00a0junior<\/span> teams, selection of the junior teams to represent Munster, organizing the coaching of the junior teams (in consultation with the coaching secretary), is active in the organization of the Munster Junior Open and Munster Junior Closed tournaments, oversees the participation of the junior players in provincial open tournaments, keeps under review the procedure for selecting junior players for Irish Squads and Irish Teams in so far as they concern Munster players and represents the association at Irish Squash meetings of Junior Administrators.<\/span><\/p>\n

Responsibilities include determining (after consultation with the committee) the selection criteria for the Munster master’s teams, selection of the masters’ teams to represent Munster, and organizing the coaching of the masters’ teams (in consultation with the coaching secretary), is active in the organization of the Munster Masters’ Open tournament, keeps under review the procedure for selecting masters players for Irish Squads and Irish Teams in so far as they concern Munster players and represents the association at meetings of the Irish Squash Masters Committee.<\/span><\/p>\n

Responsibilities include keeping a register of qualified coaches in the Munster region, organizing coaching courses to increase the number of coaches in the province, promoting the use of qualified coaches in member clubs, and organizing, with the appropriate committee member, the coaching of the mens, ladies, junior or masters players within the province.<\/span><\/p>\n

Responsibilities include keeping a register of qualified referees in the Munster region, organizing refereeing courses to increase the number of referees in the province, organizing the refereeing of the Munster Open and Closed tournaments and represents the association at Irish Squash meetings of Refereeing and Marking Secretaries.<\/span><\/p>\n
