The Munster Schools Squash Boys under 13 Finals were a three way affair between, Scoil Ailbhe, Scoil Mochaomh\u00f3g Naofa, and Leugh N.S. The finals were hosted by Thurles Squash Club on 1st of April 2015. A very sporting encounter was won by Leugh N.S.<\/p>\n
With Scoil Mochaomh\u00f3g Naofa & Leugh N.S. both winning their earlier ties against Scoil Ailbhe the scene was set for a \u201cshowdown tie\u201d between Scoil Mochaomh\u00f3g Naofa & Leugh N.S. In the #1s match, Philip O\u2019Connell (Leugh N.S) beat Cillian McDonagh (Scoil Mochaomh\u00f3g Naofa). In the #3s match Peter Dillon (Scoil Mochaomh\u00f3g Naofa) beat Sarah O\u2019Connell (Leugh N.S) to level the tie at 1\/1! The tie was then set for a dramatic finale between the #2s Eoin O\u2019Connell (Leugh N.S) & Cathal Corcoran (Scoil Mochaomh\u00f3g Naofa). Cathal gave his best but had to retire due to a knee problem giving the deciding match to Eoin!<\/p>\n
So, after a festival of squash with 29 exciting games, Leugh N.S. emerged the winners. Congratulations to Leugh N.S. and better luck next time to the other participating schools!<\/p>\n
We wish Leugh N.S. all the best at the All Ireland Schools Finals to be held in ALSAA Squash Club, Dublin Airport on Friday 17th of April when they will represent Munster against schools from Leinster, Connacht & Ulster.<\/p>\n
