Refereeing courses will take place in Celtic, Highfield and Thurles Squash Clubs on the dates below. Club Grade referees are badly needed so if you are in a position to meet the following requirements why not contact your club representative who will pass you name on to Refereeing Secretary, Lee Healy.
You will need to attend 1 x 90 minute session where the rules are gone through, 1 x 90 minute practical session where participants mark and referee and be assessed at the Munster Masters Open in Cork on January 19-20. A written on-line assessment is also done. The ‘Pass’ mark is 75% in both the practical and the ‘written’.
Celtic on November 13 and November 27 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Highfield on November 8 and November 22 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Thurles on November 6 and November 20 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
January 19-20 Assessment in Cork at Munster Masters Tournament.
The charge for the course is €30 and includes a copy of the rules and the assessments.
