Ann marie from Macroom took on Donnacha. Game 1 Donnacha won 15/6.

Ann Marie fought hard but Donnacha beat her 15/13.

Game 3 went to the Cashel man 15/7.Claire (the entertaining student from Castletownbear) and Ann took to another court. Ann proved too strong in all 3 games 15/8 15/10 15/8 – enjoyable game to watch.

Stephanie (originally a tennis player but has been converted) played Phil in a great match. Phil took the lead in all games 15/13 15/8 15/8.

Karen from Paris studying science in UCC and Bindy (Thurles Auzzie) up next . Some classy shots played but the Auzzie was too strong . 15/11 15/6 15/4.

Finally Nicholas all the way from France played Suzie. From the off he was the stronger player, playing as a child but had given up and not played in 7 years . Not that you would think that seeing him play. Game 1 14/10. Game 2 Nicholas was well on the way but Suzie played hard and fought back up taking it to 14/14 but the French guy finished it with a couple of class boasts. Game 3 was 15/7.
