Safeguarding children has become a vital part of everyday life for clubs, coaches, and all volunteers that work with children, it’s important that all clubs have a Child Safeguarding Statement in place as per the Children First Act 2015. Risk assessment for clubs and Garda vetting for coaches are just part of the process, but we would encourage all clubs and coaches to make sure that the correct procedures are in place for all.
